Motivation! ---> NOT

Ever wish for more motivation?!
I’ve wished for more motivation myself. However, when I truly started analyzing the core of motivation these days, I was mostly not impressed.
Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary defines motivation as: “a force or influence that causes someone to do something”
So, motivation is all good, as long as your force or influence is good. If your force to workout is to be better than someone else, is your motivation good?
Unless your intentions are pure and innocent, the place where you collect your motivation from can leave you feeling down on yourself. The constant comparing and competing – being motivated by the thought of being better than the person next to you.
No.
That type of motivation will not fuel a life of wellness, it will eventually run out and leave you with nothing.
Here is an alternative:
Discipline.
If comparing and competing is something you struggle with, try zeroing in on discipline.
Focus on yourself; give yourself a set of rules to follow, because being well is about – YOU.
